Ghanaian club Cheetah FC have started the construction of an ultra-modern sports facility under their One Goal, One Passion, One Project program.
The Ghanaian lower tier club will be showing the 15th episode of video footage of the progress of the club’s infrastructural development tomorrow.
From the previous episodes, it was seen that the club has acquired 45 acres of land for infrastructural developments.
According to the pictures and videos posted on the club’s official social media handles “Cheetah FC believes that they are in a new era and that the new era need infrastructural development”.
Since the inception of the club in 2009, the club adopted the Kasoa pitch as their playing ground.
The pitch is in a bad state due to the pressure on the pitch.
About 17 teams use the same pitch as their playing ground.
The ground also sometimes serves as grounds for Muslim funerals and other functions.
The Club has produced great players such as Christian Atsu who have featured abroad and for the senior National Soccer Team, the Black Stars of Ghana.
There is therefore the need for a Club with such pedigree as Cheetah FC to have better infrastructure.
In other episodes, the President of the team traveled to France to meet International Fifa accredited company that constructed the Prampram Astro turf pitch to provide astro turf for the Club.
It was seen in the episode also that the Chairman visited Strasbourg Football Club in France and toured their facility.
He also visited Paris Saint Germain in France to tour their Facility as well and again to Spain to take a look at Marbella Center in Malaga.
He also left to Portugal to have a feel of the Benfica Football Academy which is regarded as one of the best Football Academies in the world.
The latest episode shows that work has begun on the site and therefore fans and the entire sports fraternity should be on the watch for a beautiful facility we would behold in Ghana.
This is a great step in the right direction for Cheetah Football Club to show the world that we are capable to make do exploits no matter where we find ourselves.
