Agent of Ghanaian attacker Abdul Waris has revealed that the player will maintain his running contract with French giants Racing Club Strasbourg and not sign any contract.

His comments came after report emerged in France that the player will sign a two year extension with the club following his impressive performance in the just ended season.

But his agent Yussif Chibsah says the player already has a running 2 and a half years contract with the French side and will not sign any contract again.

“When we signed the contract six months ago it was for 2.5 years so the report is not true that he has been given a new two-year contract,” Chibsah told Ghanasoccernet.com on Saturday.

Majeed Waris joined the French side from Portuguese club FC Porto.
