Former Hearts of Lions, Dreams FC and Techiman Eleven Wonders midfielder Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah has been declared a free agent by the Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) on Thursday, July 9.
This follows a request by the player to the Player Status Committee of the GFA, to declare him a free agent after his contract with the Still believe lad ended.
His request was however granted by the committee, which means the player can negotiate for transfer to any club of his choice.
The 24-year-old on was in outstanding form for the Techiman based side before the suspension of the league.
Asamoah played 12 matches, scoring one and assisting two and also emerged man of the match once.
Before his moved to Dreams he was then linked with a move to Hearts of Oak and South African side Cape Town City FC.
Asamoah netted six goals with 19 assists to help Heart of Lions to finish second in the second-tier league last two season.
