The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku led a team of former Black Stars players to distribute Personal Protective Equipment to residents of Maamobi in Accra as the fight against COVID-19 heightens.
The exercise which if part of the Ghana FA’s corporate social responsibility saw several hundreds of people who became beneficiaries of the PPE’s distributed.
Several former Black Stars players including Ibrahim Tanko, Stephen Appiah and Augustine Arhinful were part of the laudable exercise.
Other top personalities who graced the occasion were the Greater Accra Regional Football Association Chairman Samuel Aboabire, and other executives from the RFA.
Beneficiaries of the GFA’s commendable act inclded market women, taxi drivers, pedestrians, etc.
The exercise which was led by the President of the Ghana FA is set to continue in other regions which will be led by the various Regional FA Chairmen.
