Chief Executive Officer of AshantiGold SC, Emmanuel Frimpong has flatly denied any knowledge of the club’s reported pursuit of Hearts of Oak attacker Joseph Esso.
According to local media reports, the former Ebusua Dwarfs striker has been the subject of interest from the Obuasi-based side as they ready themselves for their CAF Confederation Cup challenge.
It is believed that new coach Roberto Landi wants to add Esso to his list of attacker as he bolsters his squad for the task ahead.
A move to AshantiGold will also see Joseph Esso reunite with his brother Eric, who joined the Miners about a year ago.
However, in an interview with Kumasi based Foxx FM, CEO Emmanuel Frimpong has denied such claims.
