Black stars head coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor has lauded Jordan Ayew for winning big at Crystal Palace’s end of season awards event.
The Ghanaian forward was named winner of three top awards for his performance during the 2019-20 English football season.
Jordan Ayew was named the Best Player of the Season, the Players’ Player of the Season and his superb solo effort against West Ham was awarded the best goal of the campaign.
Overall he netted 9 goals in 39 appearances for Roy Hodgson’s side as they had one of their best ever seasons in the English top flight.
Speaking to Accra based Angel TV, Coach C.K. Akonnor praised Jordan for chalking this feat and hailed his progress as a player.
“Jordan Ayew has really improved and as the Black Stars Coach I am very proud of him. Jordan’s progression has been a very good example especially for the young players” Akonnor told Angel TV.
