Former Ghana international Michael Osei has revealed how much Asante Kotoko paid to him in the 1980’s to get his services as a player.
Osei joined the Porcupines from Okwahu United after his impressive display for the Eastern Region based club.
Speaking on Starr FM , the head coach of Star Madrid revealed how Asante Kotoko paid six thousand Ghana cedis to lure him from his club.
He only played for two years for the Porcupine Warriors before leaving the shores of Ghana.
“Asante Kotoko paid six thousand equivalent to sixty thousand cedis currently to get my services from Okwahu’
” I only played for two years with them before leaving the shores of Ghana”
Michael Osei was a former player Anokye Stars and Okwahu United before joining Asante Kotoko.
