Former Ghana international Prince Tagoe has backed the Ghana Football Association President Kurt E.S. Okraku to succeed in his role.

Kurt Okraku was chosen as leader of the country’s football governing body during an electoral process in October last year.

The astute football administrator and expert marketer after ascending the throne launched campaigns geared towards reviving the game of football in the country; an agenda that fell in line with his mantra of ‘igniting passion and creating wealth’ for all football stakeholders.

After getting off to a flyer, Kurt Okraku’s efforts have been thwarted by the Coronavirus pandemic with football suspended for the past 5 months.

However, former Black Stars attacker Prince Tagoe is adamant Mr. Okraku who he refers to as a ‘family’ will come good at the end of his term as GFA boss.

The former Hearts of Oak player divulged this in an interview with Joy FM.

Prince Tagoe has also credited Kurt Okraku for helping inject some verve and liveliness into the local game. Before the coronavirus forced the cancellation of the 2019-20 campaign, local league centers were buzzing. There was also a keen interest in the local league content on social media.

Prince Tagoe believes Kurt Okraku’s efforts helped realise this and is backing him to do more to raise the standards of the game .
