Danish top flight club, FC Nordsjaelland are happy with developments at their academy setup, the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, and will continue to rely on players developed at the facility, Director of Football Jan Laursen has revealed.
The Right to Dream Academy has served as a feeder club to FC Nordsjaelland and has offered the side top Ghanaian talents in the last few years.
One of such players, Mohammed Kudus, was sold just last week to AFC Ajax with the whole transfer business proving highly profitable.
FC Nordsjaelland are in need of a replacement and according to Jan Laursen the club will stick to its traditions and search a replacement in their academy setups in Akosombo (Ghana) and Farum (Denmark).
He said “In a very quiet transfer time, it has been a hallmark of the good work being done at the academies in Ghana and Farum”.
“It is fantastic that two from our respective academies can ensure that money comes back into the system,” Laursen added.
The Right to Dream Academy has been the main source of supply of talents for FC Nordsjaelland, with the current squad containing seven players from Ghana.
Despite the departure of Kudus Mohammed, the club still has budding talents Isaac Atanga, Kamaldeel Sulemana, Clinton Antwi, Ibrahim Sadid, Abu Francis, Abdul Mumin and the returning Godsway Donyoh.
