Swiss Challenge League side Grasshoppers are making moves to sign Ghanaian forward Asumah Abubakar-Ankra in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Abubakar 23, has been on top form for SC Kriens in his debut season scoring 14 goals in 20 games.
The former Willem II attacker is on the radar of several European clubs due to his explosive form for the Swiss challenge league side.
Footballmadeinghana.com understands Grasshoppers have contacted the representatives of the player for a possible move to the club.
According to our source, the player prefers a move to Germany or Spain but would consider a move to the Swiss side should they qualify to the Swiss top flight league.
Currently, Grasshoppers are second on the Swiss Challenge League with six matches to end the season.
Asumah is still eligible to represent Ghana despite playing for the Portugal U19 side in the 2016 UEFA U19 Championship.
