Accra Hearts of Oak striker Abednego Tetteh has narrated his sad ordeal in Sudan when he suffered inhumane treatment as an import.
Then plying his trade for Sudanese top flight side, Al Hilal, Tetteh has revealed that he was made to play through the pain barrier just to satisfy the whims of his pay masters.
The former Bechem United lamented the ill treatment he suffered and how it culminated in convincing it was right to depart the league. He revealed that he was once injected to play a match for his side when he was injured and needed treatment.
He narrated that after playing through pain, the club grew reluctant in ensuring he was medically attended to regarding his injury and wanted him to continue playing with pain relieving/numbing injections.
Tetteh says after his refusal to honor this request, he entered the bad books of the club’s hierarchy and that spelt doom for him.
He narrates his ordeal fully in the audio clip below.
