The former Ghana striker, Nana Arhin Duah, has had an exciting footballing career mostly playing on the local scene. As a teenager, he played in the final of the CAF Champions League with Obuasi Goldfields in 1997, when the side now known as AshantiGold SC lost via penalty shootout.
He switched camp to join Kumasi Asante Kotoko in 2000 and went ahead to cement legendary status at the Porcupine Warriors. He is a 3 time league winner, 1 time FA Cup winner, winner of the SWAG Cup 4 times, and losing finalist in the 2002 CAF Cup Winners Cup and the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup.
The once deadly striker worked under a lot of Coaches during his time as a professional. The late Herbert Addo, Hans Dieter Schmidt, Ernst Middendorp, Karim Abdul Razak all appear on his list of coaches he’s played under.
Now domiciled in the USA, Arhin Duah has chosen 61 year old German tactician, Ernst Middendorp; who now coaches at South African side Kaizer Chiefs as the best of the lot.
In an interview with Revolt GH TV, Arhin Duah explained that he chose Middendorp who he played under at Asante Kotoko because of certain qualities he possessed.
