Ghanaian international Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah bagged his first career hat-trick as SC Kriens walloped FC Aarau 4-1 at home on Wednesday in the Swiss Challenge league.

Abubakar has been in superb form since joining the Swiss side from Willem II at the beginning of the season.

After missing a penalty in his side last game, the former Corners Babies player redeemed himself for the club by hitting a first half hat-trick on Wednesday.

Asumah Abubakar broke the deadlock of the game for Kriens  seven minutes into the game.

The Ghanaian born Portuguese U21 player doubled his side’s lead on the 16th minute.

Elsad Zverotic reduced the deficit for the visitors on the 28th minute to give his side a hope of a comeback.

Asumah Abubakar completed his hat-trick by restoring his team’s two goals cushion on the 34th minutes.

Igor Tadic made things worse for the visitors by making it 4-1 for the host who went on to record a overwhelming victory on the day.
