Renowned Ghanaian Sports Psychologist Dr. Patrick Ofori has advised local based players to use this period of inactivity at the local level to work on improving their skillset and learn something new that will enhance their game.
The Ghana Football season has been cancelled by the Ghana FA. The situation, a very troubling one for clubs, players and connoisseurs alike came about as a result of the Corona Virus pandemic.
This development means there hasn’t been a completion of a single season on the local terrain in the last 3 years owing to the reason stated above and others.
While commiserating with players who feel down in the mouth at the turn of events, Dr Patrick Ofori in an interview with Takoradi based Skyy Power FM has advised players to focus on how they can work on their game and improve it.
The former Black Stars team psychologist believes now is the right for local based players to add on to their skill set to better their game whenever football returns.

Dr Patrick Ofori is a lecturer at the University of Cape Coast (Head of Department Department of Sports Science), and as a Sports Psychologist, he has actively provided consultative services for the Ghana Senior National Team (Black Stars) and other sporting clubs most especially Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
