Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena has returned to Levante following the expiration of his loan spell with Spanish Segunda Division outfit Real Zaragoza.
TheĀ forward’s loan stint ended on June 30, and the club despite the extension of the season due to COVID-19 have decided not to extend his contract.
Raphael Dwamena returns to parent club Levante, where his future remains uncertain after suffering a heart problem midway through the season.
The Ghana international is yet to make an appearance since October last year after it was detected that he had a heart condition.
Despite starting individual training last month, It is yet to be known if he would return to the pitch in future but his contract with Levante expires in June 2022.
Dwamena made 9 appearances for Los Blanquillos and scored twice before suffering the setback.
