Ghanaian and African Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has moved to social media to denounce his support for Accra Hearts of Oak and switch camp to their bitterest rivals, Asante Kotoko.
Shatta Wale has in the past spoken of his admiration for the Phobians and in his own way helped promote the club on social media.
In a recent twist of events, The ‘Gringo’ hit maker has announced his decision to quit supporting the 2000 CAF Champions League winners and move to the camp of arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.
He posted via his official Twitter page, “Since my Godfada @kofiAbban19 is now a Board member of Asante kotoko. I am now supporting kotoko with full vim including my fans …Wukum Apim apim b3ba !!!”.

Shattta Wale’s denouncement is set to trigger a social media banter between fans of the two clubs.
His followers who also support Hearts of Oak are also in a quagmire now. They will have to take a decision about following their icon or not.
