Immediate-past Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, George Amoako has vowed never to return to the Kumasi club again despite been a fan of the club.
The Ghana FA Executive Council member is seriously chasing the Porcupine Warriors for his 5 months’ salary arrears with no indication of the debt being settled by Kotoko.
Amoako alerted the recently constituted board of the club demanding for his moneys he’s worked for but the board seems to have been silent on his call.
In an interview with Fox FM, he said, “enough is enough” regarding his engagement with the Porcupine Warriors having seen seven different stints at the club.
“Enough is enough now for me with Kotoko. I will not return to the club in any official position even though I’m still a Kotoko faithful.” he said.
He also confirmed the club owes him five months’ salary.
“It is true. Kotoko owes me salaries for five months. But I have not written officially to demand it as speculated by some media.”
Amoako is likely to send Asante Kotoko to the GFA Disciplinary Committee to seek redress as it seems that’s the only language better appreciated by the Reds.
Several coaches including Didi Dramani, David Duncan, Steve Pollack, Kjetil Zachariessen and C.K. Akonnor all resorted to legal actions to retrieve their entitlements after their stints were terminated by the club.
