Espérance Sportive de Tunis midfielder, Kwame Bonsu ‘Conte’ has successfully undergone a successful surgery to repair a cartilage injury.
The Ghanaian international is set for a spell on the sidelines during which he will embark on a rehabilitation process.
In a press statement, the club said “The successful procedure will require about 4 to 6 weeks of physical therapy. We wish our midfielder a speedy recovery. Get well soon ‘Conte’!”
Bonsu joined the Blood and Gold side on a four-year deal from Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in 2019.
He has since established himself as a key member of the Esperance side.
