Esperance midfielder Kwame Bonsu has been ruled out for six weeks after picking up an injury.
The former Asante Kotoko midfielder picked up the injury in training ahead of the resumption of the Tunisian league.
He was subsequently ruled out for six weeks after undergoing a minor surgery.
A statement from the club read“The successful procedure will require about 4 to 6 weeks of physical therapy. We wish our midfielder a speedy recovery. Get well soon ‘Conte’!”
Kwame Bonsu has become an integral member of the club since joining them last year.
He likely to recover in time for the league restart in August.
