Top Ghanaian Female Footballer, Samira Suleman has settled on taking her career to the best level possible even at the expense of having a flourishing sexual relationship.
The Black Queens attacker is one of the prolific strikers the Ghanaian women’s game has ever seen.
Now plying her trade in Iceland for Víkingur Ólafsvík, Samira Suleman has told Football Made in Ghana of her determination to ensure playing at the top level for long and as such wouldn’t want to meddle in any extra affairs that will prove a distraction.
In an exclusive interview with Sheikh Tophic on the GH Footy Show, the 28 year old revealed she is not into any sexual relationship because she came to Iceland very much focused on making every moment count on the pitch.
“My focus isn’t on that (sex) at the moment, because the mentality attached to our travel here is that we want to do everything possible to establish ourselves for the future,” she told Football Made In Ghana’s GH Footy Show.
“Sometimes when you come to a place like this, you don’t pay attention to stuff like that. For the guys I want to believe they will do it, but for the female footballers, it just some few of us who would do that.
“We don’t even earn that much to be chasing after guys. Even with the little we earn, our family also depend on us so often times we do away with such stuff.
“Just like Kennedy Agyapong said, secure the bags first, orgasm can wait,” she remarked.
Samira Suleman has however not ruled out engaging in a sexual relationship in the future. She has hinted that her focus will switch to that when she decides to hang her boots some day.
