Ghanaian defender Gideon Mensah has popped up on the radar of Belgian Jupiler Pro League giants Anderlecht.

The left back who featured on-loan Zulte Waregem in the 2019/2020 season has emerged as the target of the Belgian club after his impressive performance with the club.

Gideon became key member of  the team due his consistent performance on every match day.

According to various media report, Anderlecht are interested in signing the former WAFA player and has established contact with his mother club Red Bull Salzburg for a possible lead.

The report further explain , they want to sign the player on a season-long loan before they look at a permanent deal for him at the end of the season.

Gideon Mensah featured in 19 games for Zulte Waregem and registered 2 assist in the process.
