Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak and President of the National House of Chief Togbe Afede XIV has applauded President of the Ghana FA Kurt E.S. Okraku for his exemplary leadership in the bid to transform Ghana football.
The passionate football administrator and business mogul has given the administration of the Game Changer a shot in the arm with his words of encouragement insisting the young GFA President is on the right path.
Togbe also called for support for the young administration to be able to succeed.
Kurt has been in office for barely 8 months but has instituted several strategies and policies to transform and reform the country’s football.
Togbe Afede VIX in an exclusive interview with GTV Sports+ applauded the young administration, urging all for their support to get football back on the right footing.
“Let me start by acknowledging what Kurt and his team are doing. They are doing a wonderful job and they deserve our fullest support,” Togbe said.
Kurt was voted into power on October 25, 2019 and has introduced several interventions towards the redevelopment of the game.
But for the outbreak of COVID-19, the Ghana Premier League, Women’s Premier League and the Division One League had caught fire with wonderful performances from the clubs.
Football in Ghana is expected to return when the COVID-19 situation stabilizes.
