Evelyn Nsiah Asare says it is an honour to serve a great brand like Asante Kotoko after being named on the nine-member board of directors of the club on Thursday, 28 May, 2020.
The head of Sports at the Sunyani Technical University is the only female appointed by his majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the owner and life patron of the club.
Nsiah has vast experience in sports administration, having work with various women national teams and the Sunyani technical university school team.
She is currently the welfare manger of the Black Princesses team.
The former sports journalist and other members have been tasked to rebuild Asante Kotoko and make it an elite club.
Nsiah took her official Twitter account to expressed her gratitude to the Asantehene for calling her to serve at the great club.
“It is an honour to be called upon to serve such a great brand like @AsanteKotoko_SC. I pledge to always avail myself whenever duty calls and to do my very best to help build a much greater Asante Kotoko SC. It is always a pleasure to serve my Kingdom and my King.
I am therefore very much grateful to His Royal Highness, Opemsuo Otumfuo Osei Tutu 11 for such a great honour and opportunity
