Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey is on his way out of Leicester City at the end of the season, according to his manager, Yusif Chibsah.
The defender has been struggling for playing time under their new manager after recovering a fatal injury he suffered a year ago.
Despite recovering earlier this year, Amartey finds it difficult to breakthrough Brendan Rogers’ side.
When quizzed about the future of the player, Chibsah hinted the former FC Copenhagen defender could be on his way out of the club.
“Amartey has recovered and we are looking to find new opportunities for him.
“He’s been out of favour under the new gaffer so we will see how best we can solve that issue,” Yusif Chibsah said in an interview with Starr Sports.
He added, “He is still with the Foxes but he is not been getting more playing time due to the fact that he got injured but after his injury, they consider him as surplus so there should be a way out.”
The Black Stars defender has been strongly linked with a move to a club in the French Ligue 1.
