The Bankroller of King Faisal Alhaji Abdul Karim Grusah is demanding an amount of $150,000 from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as a condition for games to be played behind closed doors.
This comes after the head of GFA medical committee Dr Adam Baba revealed they have sent a blueprint document on how to bring football back in the country.
In the over 30 page document, the Ghana FA is proposing a mandatory weekly test for players and essential staff as well as playing matches behind closed doors.
However, Alhaji who has been advocating for the cancellation of the league believes Ghana does not have what it takes should the green light be given.
“I’m the first person to speak about the cancellation of the season when this COVID 19 came into existence.
“We are heading towards June so when can we finish the season and start a new season. Its impossible. Countries like Angola,Ethiopia etc have canceled their season, so why don’t we do the same.
“Germany is playing empty stadium, but the clubs have big sponsors, what about the GPL?
“You have no idea the amount of debts I have incurred in the running King Faisal,” he further stated.
