Former Hearts of Oak winger Ollenu Ashitey has insisted he has no regrets over his decision to leave the Phobians to join Asante Kotoko.
The 25-year-old refused a contract extension with the Accra based giants and opted to sign with their arch-rivals.
He failed to live up to the expectations at Asante Kotoko and saw his contact terminated after just one season.
“I don’t regret and I’ll never regret leaving Hearts of Oak for Kotoko,” Ollenu told Sikka FM
“I left Hearts of Oak for Asante Kotoko because of the ‘good money’ they offered me. Life is all about money after God.”
He has been struggling in his football career after the Porcupine Warriors offloaded him in 2018.
Ollenu has joined Techiman City at the just ended transfer window after his contract was terminated by Great Olympics.
