Industrious Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has emerged a transfer target for Ligue 1 side FC Metz this summer.
Lomotey, a former Dreams FC star has enjoyed a decent campaign in the Spanish Segunda Division, scoring one goal in 15 league appearances for Extremadura UD before the suspension of football activities due to COVID-19 outbreak.
The 22-year-old is currently on the radar of Bundesliga side Unión Berlin and Portuguese side Sporting Braga with Metz becoming the third top tier side joining the race.
Both teams are willing to meet Lomotey’s €325,000 valuation in the summer.
Lomotey was a member of the U23 side that featured for Ghana at the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt where the Black Meteors missed out on a 2020 Olympic Games qualification spot after finishing fourth.
