Chairman of the Ghana FA’s Medical Committee Dr. Adam Baba has advised clubs to be innovative about how they keep their players fit in this period of inactivity due to the CoronaVirus outbreak.
The Ghana Football Association has suspended all football activities which is in compliance with government’s directive to ban all social gatherings with football part of it.
Ghana’s CoronaVirus count currently stands at 1,671 positive cases with 188 recoveries and 16 deaths.
With uncertainty hanging around when normalcy ill return and football can be finally played, Dr. Adam Baba ants clubs to find ways to keep in close contact with players, monitoring their training regimes to assess their fitness levels.
He has urged clubs not to nonchalantly allow players’ fitness levels drop.
In a video posted on the Ghana FA’s official twitter handle, Dr. Adam Baba Advises club handlers and managers to think outside the box and find ways to prepare players for a smooth take-off when the fight against CoronaVirus is finally won.
