Chief Executive Officer of Medeama SC, James Essilfie has denied that the clubs has completed a deal with former Kotoko attacker Sogne Yacouba.
Media reports on Thursday claimed the Burkinabe international has finally settled on the Tarkwa based outfit in a 2 year deal.
However, Medeama SC have denied such reports.
According to James Essilfie talks are still ongoing and that reports that Medeama have wrapped up Yacouba’s signing are untrue.
He told OTEC FM in an interview, “I’ve seen such stories, I’ve not seen the player ever since we played against them in the league.
“I’ve seen the stories but we have not signed him(Yacouba), although talks are ongoing. Its not just Medeama, other clubs are also talking to him”, he concluded.
Yacouba run down his contract with Asante Kotoko last month and is now a free agent. He has been linked with several clubs both home and abroad.
