Ghana international Isaac Twum has joined the campaign to kick out the deadly coronavirus .
The disease, also known as Convid-19 has so far claimed many lives with several infections globally.
The virus has led to the suspension of football related activities in the world with Ghana not exempted.
Twum, who currently ply his trade with Norwegian outfit IK Start has called on Ghanaians to adhere to directives from the World Health Organization (WHO) and government to stay safe from the disease.
“My advise to Ghanaians is that, we are the best people to save ourselves from this deadly disease.
“Staying home as directed by President, Nana Akuffo Addo will help us to over the disease.
“He knows why he has partially locked down the country and so, Ghanaians must obey the laws.”
“I will plead with everyone to stay home to reduce the burden on our security personnel,” he told Bryt FM.
Twum recently suffered a pay cut at his club side due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
