Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have decided with immediate effect to suspend all activities indefinitely as football continues to be on hold owing to the novel CoronaVirus disease outbreak.
Covid-19 has brought the world to a standstill with most activities across various spheres put on hold as the disease continues to wreak havoc globally.
With over 1,000,000 cases confirmed the WHO has termed Covid-19 a global pandemic with sports as a fraternity feeling the hit.
Almost all football activities worldwide have been suspended until further notice with Ghana football not being left out.
With the Ghana premier league suspended and uncertainty surrounding a return date, Medeama SC has decided to freeze all activities until further notice.
The club posted on their official Twitter handle “The club’s activities have been postponed indefinitely amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Let’s continue to stay home and keep up with the basic precautionary measures touted by experts”.

Ghana has so far recorded over 200 coronovirus cases with 5 confirmed deaths.
