Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has offered his thoughts on calls for the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season to be cancelled.
All football activities have been suspended due to outbreak of the novel Coronavirus in the country with the disease being declared a global pandemic.
There has since been growing calls by some colleague coaches and football administrators for the current campaign to be truncated but Maxwell Konadu insists that decision must made solely by the powers that be.
“We have to let the authorities discuss that. We are just coaches, the FA, Sports Ministry and those who matter should discuss that and take the right decision in the best interest of football” he told FootballMadeInGhana
“At the end of the day Ghana has to be the beneficiary. Majority of Ghanaians love to see their football back but once they are in charge of our football we should allow them to take the right decision for everybody”
