Ghana premier league giants Asante Kotoko have wrapped up the signing of highly rated midfielder Emmanuel Sarkodie.
Sarkodie, a most-sought after player has signed a three-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors expiring in 2023.
Emmanuel Sarkodie, a defensive midfielder was captain of National First Division side Nkoranza Warriors and he becomes Kotoko’s second confirmed signing in the just-opened transfer window after striker Kwame Opoku.
KotÅ‹ko fended off competition from the likes of Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak, Legon Cities and Eleven Wonders to secure Sarkodie’s signature and his addition is expected to boost Coach Maxwell Konadu’s chances of annexing the league title.
