Gyan believes the government deserves every form of help/assistance in combating the highly infectious disease which has plagued the world.
Ghana has so far recorded 53 cases of the novel Corona Virus with 2 confirmed deaths and no recovery. It is feared the situation could worsen, leading to government laying down some measures to help curb the spread of Covid-19.

In a video posted on his Twitter page, the Black Stars forward called on all Ghanaians to stick together and help protect each other against the pandemic.
“As an icon, people look up to me. I urge all celebrities, all those who are fortunate, let’s give back to the community because this is the time that people need up. People need our support,”
“Let’s do this to help the government because the government cannot do this alone. We can’t depend on the government, these are our lives. We have to protect one another; we have to stick together.”
In th last gloomy 11 days, many Ghanaian footballers have been posting videos communicating precautionary health and safety tips on how to prevent corona virus to their followers.
Gyan seized the moment to offer similar advice to Ghanaians and his wide following.
“Let’s take precaution, stay at home, use your hand sanitizers, let’s do everything possible to protect ourselves,” he concluded.
