Ghanaian defensive midfielder Joseph Attamah-Larweh has proven an oasis in the desert by coming to the aid of the needy and less privileged in such difficult and desolate times when the fear of CoronaVirus grips the nation.

The Turkish based player who plies his trade for second tier side Fatih Karagümrük has made donations to two orphanages through his Not for Profit organization known as the JLA Foundation.

The 25 year old former Tema Youth star was represented by his team at the JLA foundation as they presented the items to the orphans.

Among the items donated include health and first aid kits, non-alcoholic beverages, toiletries, soaps etc.

The team first made a presentation at the Rerma Tema Children’s home inside community 11. The second donation was made at the New Life Children’s Home at Nungua.

Award winning radio and TV presenter Amanda Jissih fronted the entire exercise for Attamah Larweh’s team.

Ghana has so far recorded 68 cases of Corona Virus with 3 deaths confirmed. As talks of a lockdown continue and people rushing to purchase basic but necessary items for home use, the donation to the two orphanages by Joseph Attamah Larweh will be of immense benefit to the entities.
