Black Maidens striker, Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah has called for the support of Ghanaians ahead of their second leg encounter with their female U17 counterparts from Liberia.
Ghana won the first leg in Monrovia by 2-0, and will be looking to finish the job on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, the captain expressed her confidence they will finish the job on Saturday.
“Our first game against Liberia was the first time, so we didn’t know their play well, we were in an anticipation to score and that led us to series of mistakes, tomorrow God willing we will play them again, all I want to say is that, Ghanaians should use their support to rally behind us, tomorrow we will win the game for them”
The Ampem Darkoa striker who is the leading goalscorer in the National Women league scored the opener in the first leg, before Salamatu Abdullai got the second.
