King Faisal suffered their 7th defeat of the season following their 2-1 loss to Ebusua Dwarfs during match day 14 of the Ghana Premier League.
Two second half strikes from Seidu Abubakari cancelled out Emmanuel Maidawa’s opener as the Crabs snatched the maximum three points.
It was a great start from both sides as both teams went all out looking for the opener.
King Faisal had the first chance of the game in the 5th minute, but Ibrahim Osman’s effort went wide.
The home side also tested the King Faisal goalkeeper through Seidu Abubakari. Dwarfs had more of the ball and looked threatening on the attack but the away side did well to kerp them at bay.
Emmanuel Maidawa gave King Faisal the lead in the 43rd minute, lobbing the ball on top of the goalkeeper after receiving a pass from Daniel Nii Adjei.
Dwarfs launched a late pressure but couldn’t get the leveller as the first half climaxed.
The visitors came back from the recess and adopted a gung-ho approach. Their approach paid of as Seidu Abubakari got the equaliser in the 60th minutes.
Abubakari captilized on a defensive error to put the ball at the back of the net.
The home side kept on piling more pressure on the visitors and got their second goal 13 minutes after the leveler.
Seidu Abubakari netted his second goal to give the home side the advantage.
King Faisal despite putting up a late fight failed to get the equaliser as they went home with their 8th defeat of the season.
The result also leaves them still languishing in the last position on the league log. They remain the only side yet to win a league game this season.
