Assistant coach of King Faisal Anthony Commey has saluted the people of Techiman for their support after his side 0-0 draw with Medeama SC.
King Faisal opted to play their home games at the Ohene Ameyaw Park after the closure of the Baba Yara Stadium for renovation.
And the decision seems have the best decision the club has taken after playing their first game against Medeama last Saturday.
Despite not been able to win the game, king Faisal kept their first clean sheet in the league after 12 games without one.
Speaking to the media after the game, Commey saluted the Techiman fans for their warm reception for the club.
” I’m very much happy because this is the first time this season that we didn’t concede. The Techiman fans were fantastic. I was surprised with the reception and the kind of support they gave us. I want to use this opportunity to thank them for the love they showed to us.
On the draw against Medeama SC the coach said,
“We didn’t take our chances , getting a points from a leading club is good. So it’s a good sign. Today we did well. We didn’t conceded a goal but our attackers didn’t take their chances. Our situation is difficult now it’s not going to be easy. But we will keep fighting.” He added.
