Inter Allies Head Coach Tony Lokko made two changes from the previous game with Ebusua Dwarfs.
Hashmin Musah and Mohammed Zakari returned to the Starting eleven with youngster Felix Abuska dropping to the bench.Richmond Lamptey who was returning from injury was resigned to a position on the bench.
Hearts of Oak Coach Edward Odoom made three changes from the team that played Elmina Sharks on Match Week 12.
Frederick Ansah missed out with a knee problem while Emmanuel Nettey sat out due to yellow card accumulation. Daniel Afriyie also had to settle for a spot on the bench.
The game got off to a frenzied start as both teams refused to expose themselves. The match was mostly concentrated in the middle.
The home side went close inside the first 9 minutes Inter allies forward Victorien Adebayor stole his way past his marker and unleashed a left footer but Hearts goalie Richard Attah saved his shot to keep the score line at 0-0.
Inter Allies worked another opening inside 25 minutes with Richard Acquaah finding Mohammed Zakari, Zakari then set Desmond Abuga but he shot straight at the goalkeeper Attah who saved.
Hearts had their first sniff at goal in the 32nd minute as Benjamin Afutu tried one from afar after a good team move but the ball was gathered by Gideon Ahenkorah in post for Inter Allies.
Inter Allies eventually broke the deadlock in the 37th minute. Samuel Armah put the home side in front.
The first half ended 1-0, in favor of the home side.
The second half resumed with Hearts altering their approach and pushing forward for an equalizer. However it was the home side that created an opportunity to add to their lead.
Victorien Adebayor went one-on-one with Richard Attah in the 54th minute and Hearts goalie came out tops by stopping the forward.
Hearts of Oak equalized with 5 minutes remaining. Defedner Mohammed Alhassan scored after a free kick by Ovouka.
The game eventually ended with spoils evenly shared.
