Ghana forward Jordan Ayew set a new EPL goal record by producing a fine finish to secure Crystal Palace a hard-fought win over Watford on Saturday.
The 28 year old created the space to fire a first-half strike past Ben Foster and this was proved the decisive moment of the match as the scrappy affair ended 1-0.
This was the Ghanaian’s eighth league goal of the season and his second winner in consecutive matches.
With 8 goals in the league now, Jordan Ayew has now surpassed his previous record of 7 goals in the English top flight which he attained while playing for both Aston Villa and Swansea City.
