Jordan Ayew was on target for Crystal Palace when they won 1-0 against Brighton and Hove Albion in Premier League on Saturday.
The Eagles had not beaten the Seagulls since April 2018 and that run looked set to be extended before Ayew broke free and claimed all three points.
The Ghanaian international has scored seven goals in the Premier League this season; his joint-most in a single campaign, along with 2015-16 and 2017-18.
Palace have now recorded back-to-back league wins for the first time since early December and have moved above Southampton into 12th place, temporarily, with 36 points, 11 clear of the drop zone.
