Ghana striker Caleb Ekuban was on target on Saturday as Trabzonspor came from a goal down to pummel Çaykur Rizespor 5-1 in the Turkish Supalig.
Coach Hüseyin Çimşir handed Ekuban a starting berth and the potent Black Stars forward repaid such faith by scoring.
The away side took the lead in the 36th minute and ended the first half on top.
Back from recess Trabzonspor evened the scores courtesy a Manuel da Costa striker in the 65th minute.
Ekuban then shot his side ahead in the 71st minute with a powerful finish.
Subsequent goals from Jose Sosa, Anthony Nwakaeme and Badou Ndiaye sealed the big victory for Trabzonspor who are now top of the league log.
Ekuban performance saw him enjoy the entire minutes of the game for Trabzonspor.
