Kumasi Sports Academy player Holali Ativor’s career is hanging on a thread following an absolute thunderclap of a revelation by her mother concerning the player’s true gender.
Ativor’s gender issues gained currency after reports in the local media indicated that she has been dropped from senior national women’s female team, the Black Queens for being a hermaphrodite.
She was then part of the Black Queens squad that camped in Cape coast ahead of the WAFU tournament in 2019.
The news sent chills across the footballing community and it looks like the interview by her mum, Victoria Ativor has poured out more facts about the matter.
Victoria Ativor in the interview with local radio station Happy FM, confirmed that her daughter has both male and female sex organs.
She said “Yes is true they have sent my daughter home because she has two organs. When I gave birth to her she had the vagina but with time the penis started growing”.
“She is 20 years old and all her life she sees herself a woman. I have taken her to a lot of places for help but to no avail. She insists she is a woman and wants the penis taken off.”
“I will plead with Ghanaians to come to my aid so she can have surgery. For now, she is not yet home. She is on her way from camp to the house.”
With the unfolding of this development, it is highly possible Holali Ativor won’t feature in the Women’s Premier League again for Kumasi Sports Academy.
