Aduana Stars coach W.O Tandoh believes Hearts of Oak are odds on favorite to beat Asante Kotoko in the special Independence commemorative match to be played in UK next month.
Tandoh’s comments comes after he masterminded a 1-0 win over the Porcupine Warriors in Dormaa on Sunday, a game which unravelled several controversies.
Speaking in an explosive interview with Angel FM, the former Millitary Officer expressed bitter sentiments about this current Kotoko side, which he labeled as a ‘village team’.
“Maxwell Konadu is a village coach who came to play village tactics in Dormaa. He is a disgrace to Ghana football & new generation of footballers,” he said.
“He didn’t deserve to coach a national team. If Kotoko deploy such bush tactics in London, Hearts will beat them.”
The historic encounter is scheduled to take place at the Barnet Stadium in London on March 7, 2020.
Kotoko run out 2-1 winners the last time they faced Hearts of Oak in a Matchday 6 fixture in Accra.
