Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have confirmed the capture of young striker Kwame Poku.
The 21 year old joins the Porcupine Warriors on a 3 year deal, the club’s official twitter handle confirmed.
The former Nkoranza Warriors danger man is expected to bring to bear his predator instincts for the Reds as they chase for the premier league title this season.
He is expected to add more firepower to a Kotoko attack that has struggled to net more goals in the season. Maxwell Konadu’s side has managed just 10 goals in 10 matches this campaign.
Poku scored 10 goals for his former side Nkoranza Warriors FC in the GFA’s Normalisation Committee Special Competition.
Footballmadeinghana.com gathers the player will be unveiled on Thursday February 20.
We have completed the signing of striker, Kwame Opoku on a three-year deal.
More soon.
