Karela United cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory against Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League on Friday.

The match day 7 encounter which was played at the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa saw the Pride and Passion club record only their second win in the ongoing campaign.

Diawisie Taylor broke the deadlock for the home team in the 29th minute courtesy of a fortuitous deflection.

Before Samuel Ofori doubled their lead on the stroke of half time to give Karela a two goal cushion.

Legon Cities who generally have not fared too badly on the road this season simply had no answers even after the recess.

Karela kept on asserting themselves on every inch of grass as their dominance grew as the game went by.

Diawisie Taylor grabbed his brace and his side’s third goal in the 80th minute to put the result beyond the doubt.

The striker was adjudged the Nasco Man of the Match at the end of the contest.
