Accra Hearts of Oak’s preparations for their weekend trip to Dawu on Sunday has been boosted as key striker Joseph Esso has been passed fit enough to resume training.
The striker sustained an injury to the head that forced his substitution in the last encounter against Asante Kotoko. The injury meant he missed the club’s last three training sessions this week.
There were fears he could miss the trip to Dreams FC but that looks unlikely as he’s been cleared to begin training ahead of the game.
Esso is Hearts of Oak’s top scorer this season so far with 2 goals. His presence would be very much needed if Hearts of Oak are to get any positive results against Dreams in the Match Week 7 encounter.
