French Ligue 1 side, Amiens SC have confirmed the signing of Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku on loan until the end of the season.
Opoku, 22 joins from Italian club Udinese for the next 6 months with an option to buy for close to $7 million. One of the clauses to make the deal permanent is to ensure he helps keep the club in the Ligue 1 after the season.
Opoku has been on the periphery at Udinese this season having played just 7 times for the Bianconeri and will be excited at this opportunity to enjoy more game action at his new club.
Amiens SC are currently lying 18th (relegation zone) with 18 points after 21 games.
