Asante Kotoko Head Coach Maxwell Konadu is still in a jubilant mood after he masterminded a slim margin victory over Hearts of Oak last Sunday.
The two Ghanaian giants met in the Ghana Premier League Week 6 encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium with a lot at stake. Kotoko eventually prevailed over their bitterest rivals with a late penalty goal from striker Naby Keita proving the match winner. This was after Hearts’ Joseph Esso had cancelled Justice Blay’s opener for Kotoko.
Maxwell Konadu who is serving his second stint with the Porcupine Warriors has received lots of plaudit from Kotoko faithfuls for the victory and the Coach took to social media to share in the joy of the fans and also thank them for their support.
He posted on twitter “We really appreciate yr presence, the Delta Force took the battle to the opponent territory n #WON , let us all remain calm even when the going becomes tough, thanks 🙏🏿 to our Supporters.”
Maxwell Konadu also called for calm among the supporters and urged them to remain unflinching most especially in situations when results go south.

Kotoko will host Liberty Professionals next in Week 7 of the league. The Porcupine Warriors currently lie 4th on the league table with 12 points, 2 behind table toppers, Berekum Chelsea.
