Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have received a major injury boost as first choice goalkeeper George Apronti has returned to training after an injury scare in their last encounter against Great Olympics.

‪After careful assessment by the Allies medical team Apronti has been passed him fit and he resumed to training ahead of the club’s weekend league fixture.

‪The former AshGold SC goalkeeper suffered the injury in a collision with an Olympics’ attacker just 18 minutes into the game on Saturday and was stretchered off after receiving treatment from the club’s medical team.

‪There were initial fears the injury could keep him out for a period but it now looks certain that barring any last minute occurrences Apronti will have a key part to play in the Match Week 7 game with King Faisal.

‪He has played five matches this season after making his debut in the win against Bechem United during Match Week two.
